Touring Dharma Propagation – Fifth Stop: Serdang Buddhist Association
“Xiling” in English happens to be rendered as Serdang, which is easily mistaken for the well-known Serdang (沙登).
This is a small town backed by hills, with a pleasant climate. It is not by the sea, so it is spared the scorching coastal sun. With proper diet and a wholesome lifestyle, it is a place where longevity comes naturally.

Sixth Stop of the Dharma Propagation Tour: Juru Buddhist Association
It is easily mistaken for the “Johor” Buddhist Association. This place is located near Juru Auto City, a complex that brings together car dealerships, banks, dining, and entertainment. Holding a Dharma propagation event on the eve of the Winter Solstice truly reflects their strong determination to promote the Buddha’s teachings.

Final stop of the Dharma propagation tour: Penang Buddhist Lay Association
The essential conditions for rebirth in the Pure Land are faith, vows, and practice. I supplemented these with explanations from the Abhidhamma, and everyone agreed. It turned out that the event was conducted simultaneously online and offline, with active interaction with the audience—something rarely seen in my past Dharma talks. I had just visited a Catholic church and observed the enthusiastic participation of the evangelist crowd; it is something worth learning from.

Visiting a Catholic church, one is struck by its magnificent grandeur and exquisite architectural design. The building itself seems to be “preaching.” No wonder Buddhism also has majestic architecture—of course, the maintenance costs behind it are astonishing as well.
